Byung Chan (Ted) Moon holds over 20 years of global banking, strategic investment, business development, and law experience in life science and healthcare sectors.
He has been building life science focused investment banking, strategic advisory practices in addition to managing venture capital funds with his partners at RM Global Partners in the past 15 years.
Mr. Moon has significant cross border experience, especially in managing projects and facilitating investments in U.S., Israel and Korean companies. He has advised emerging biopharma/medtech venture companies as well as large corporations on their financial and strategic transactions including M&A, capital raising, strategic partnerships, and exit strategies including IPOs. His clients include large corporate groups such as Samsung, AmorePacific Group on their mergers and acquisition matters and strategic investments.
Mr. Moon is also currently serving as partner and managing member of a biopharma fund, RMGP Biopharma Fund, jointly investing with the four global biopharma leaders i.e., J&J, Takeda Pharma, Bayer, and OrbiMed, in portfolio biotech companies at a biopharma incubator, FutuRx based in Israel.
Mr. Moon served as a board member from 1996 to 2000 at several for-profit and non-profit organizations including a directorship at The Rogosin Institute, a hospital affiliated with NY-Presbyterian Hospital and Weill Cornell Medical College, based in New York, NY.
